The first event of the new season was on yesterday with our Women’s Social Team playing in a pre season tournament in the Park grounds yesterday. We played Mastergeeha, The Park, Ballyhar Dynamos and Dingle Bay Rovers. Our girls played very well, we won 2 and had 3 nil all draws. The standard on show is continuing to improve across the board with all matches on the day quite close. Thanks to the organisers, the Park, for hosting the event and for the refreshments afterwards. Thanks too to Peter Murphy, FAI Regional Development Officer & his team, for organising and running the event.
