Men Seniors: Samphires A 0 v 6 Park A
Men Seniors: Emerald Eagles 6 v 0 Samphires B
2 poor performances by our senior teams last Sunday. We started both games well enough and gave a good account of ourselves initially but we were behind in both games at half time. Our teams did not perform well in the second half and we ended up being well beaten in both games. We need to get back at it during the week and bring some attitude to training and games.
Boys U15s: Tralee Dynamos B 6 v 5 Samphires B (Scorers: Darragh Griffin(2), Cody Deady, Scott Akinyemi, Ben Stack)
This one went down to the wire and unfortunately, we came out on the wrong side. Obviously, offences were on top with many attacks looking like a goal was going to be scored. From our point of view, our fellas will have to take their defensive duties a lot more seriously. Still, we were good going forward so we can look forward to the second half of the season.
Girls U14s: Samphires 1 v 6 Listowel
Our girls team was shorn of many of our players but managed to get a team together with the help of the 13s but we lost out to a better Listowel team. Well done to our girls who gave their best but it wasn’t to be. Roll on the next game in 2 weeks time.
Boys U13s: Iveragh 3 v 0 Samphires
Boys U13s: Ardfert 2 v 2 Samphires
A close match against our neighbours, it was a match played at 100mph in a competitive contest. Both sets of players deserve great credit for their performances and both will say tat they should have won. We came from behind twice with 2 penalties, the second in the last minute of the game.

Girls U12s: Park 2 v 0 Samphires
A really competitive game against a good Park side today, sometimes in football you end up on the wrong side of the score line despite dominating large parts of the game.
We are taking the positives from this one, loads of heart and some great passing, now to turn it into attacking play that ends in goals. Huge effort from everyone in the squad, loads of great performances with special mentions to Siun who was outstanding and to Captain Saoirse S who led by example, while twinkle toes Lauren Mc came off the bench and nearly turned the game! Well done to all the players and thanks to the supporters for cheering us on.
