Senior Men: Samphires 1 v 2 Kilarney Celtic B
We got back on track to an extent last Sunday vs Killarney Celtic B. Though we lost out narrowly, it was a big improvement from the previous week. Hopefully now we will push back to our form from earlier in the season and start getting some more points on the board.

Girls U15s: Samphires 3 – 2 Dingle Bay Rovers (Scorers: Erin(2) Harty, Fiadh Nelan)
A big win today against a strong Dingle side. Playing with just the 11, the girls were up against it from the start and conceded an early goal after good attacking play from Dingle. They were outplayed for much of the 1st half and did well to go in at the break just 2-1 down, thanks to a well taken goal by Erin. But the 2nd half saw a much improved performance as the girls played themselves back into the game with some great passing and composure. Midway through the half Erin equalised with another good finish to set up an exciting finish. Both teams continued to play some exciting football but with a little less than 10 minutes to go Fenit scored the deciding goal. Started by great work in midfield by Aoife, who found Erin, who put it through for Fiadh to slide it home for the winner.
Our back 4 were immense today and particularly in the 2nd half to keep the impressive attack of Dingle at bay. A massive effort from all 11 players today, well done all. Thanks to Dingle for a great match and referee Mohamed who was officiating for the 1st time in the league.
Boys U14s: Killarney Ath 8 v 1 Samphires (Scorer: Fionn McCarthy)
We had a bad day last Saturday in Killarney shipping a heavy defeat to Athletic. We found it difficult to cope with the pace of their game and we lost the ball far too easily at times and our opponents were very good on the break, scoring most of their goals from these situations. On the other side of it, we kept on going as best we could, scoring near the end, showing that we can threaten on the transition ourselves when we make a number of consecutive passes.

Girls U13s: Fenit Samphires 3 v 3 Camp (Scorers Fiadh McElligott(3))
Our u13 girls played out a thrilling 3-3 draw versus Camp FC on Sunday in the ARC. It was a very entertaining game which was played in good spirits by both teams. At the halftime, it was evenly poised at 1-1. The game ebbed and flowed in the second half and our girls showed some serious grit to get the equalising goal with 5 mins to go which meant a hat trick for Fiadh McElligott! We had 15 girls in the squad on Sunday, each and everyone of them added to a brilliant game.
Boys U12s: Samphires 0 v Park A 5
Despite the scoreline, our boys were competitive in this game but Park were very efficient when they got their chances. We will have to start coming up to the mark defensively and start showing much more desire to stop goals if we are to get these results to improve. Our shape at times was way too open and Park were able to counterattack at ease at times when we had far too many players on the wrong side of the ball too often.
Boys U12s: LB Rovers B 3 v 0 Samphires B
Our B team will be disappointed with this result as they had been motoring well before Christmas. Again, like the A team, we were good in possession but out of possession at times, we were exposed with players out of position too often. Bar this, our team played pretty well for the most part.

Girls U9s: Our U9 girls had a great morning taking part in a blitz run by Castleisland AFC. There were some great skills on show and lots of smiles! Well done girls
