Girls 15’s Copa Durada Cup (Barcelona): Well done to Sadhbh Dowling who is representing her club and county in the Girls 15’s Copa Durada Cup in Barcelona. Sadhbh and her teammates have enjoyed a solid start to the tournament with Sadhbh playing exceptionally in defence.

Girls Community Games: Congratulations to Fenit Samphires players from our u13, u14 and u15 girls teams who won a Silver medal in futsal in Munster Community Games for Spa Fenit Barrow The Kerries in Limerick. A superb achievement! Well done girls!
Boys U14s: Listowel Celtic C 2 v 4 Fenit A
We travelled away to Listowel to play their C team in the cup. We only played in patches and were up 2 nil at the half. The second half was no better but we got 2 more to give us a comfortable lead. The team then lost their concentration and allowed a game Listowel team to come into it and they duly scored 2 deserved goals. We cannot be happy after this and there will have to be some changes after this especially in our team’s mentality.
Boys U14s: Samphires B 4 v 3 Mastergeeha B
A close game throughout, we finally came through in the end with a team of mostly U13s so weel done and we move on to the next round.

Boys U13s: Samphires 3 v 1 Listowel (Scorers: Conor James, Ben Stack, Scott Akinyemi)
Good ball playing performance this afternoon against a much bigger and physical Listowel side in our last league game of the season. A fortuitious start to the game had us 1 up through Conor James after 3 minutes and it became a war of attrition for the next 50 until Ccooly slotted home a penalty which was quickly followed by a 3rd from Scott. Team has developed through the season into a tight unit who stood for each other today and didnt take a step back. Thanks to Listowel Celtic and ref Zack.

Girls U13s: Samphires 0 v 4 Killarney Athletic
We were up against it last Saturday but our girls gave a good account of themselves against a powerful Kill Ath outfit. It was a different level than what we are used to but after we adjusted up to the pace we acquitted ourselves well and it will stand to us going forward. Well done girls.
Girls U13s: Samphires 6 v 1 Park (Scorers: Hannah Barrett-Neziri(5), Sadhbh O’Donnell)
Last week we saw powerful determination on display by our Samphires U13 girls as they took on Park in Fenit. A strong defence line dominated by Aoife Carey and held tight by Mia Falvey secured a locked in wall in front of on fire Goalie Julie O’Dowd. Grace Foley and Edith Carmody defending all incoming traffic from the corners. Midfield held strong with Lucy Dillon and Hannah Redican and Ella Clarkin-Sayers controlling the play. Hannah Redican dominating down the left wing and inmidfield running what surely was a marathon..and then some! Sadhbh O’Donnell, Hannah Barrett-Neziri and Addison Quirke were a deadly combination up front.. brains and braun combined! Hannah Barrett Neziri scoring the first 2 brilliant goals followed closely by Sadhbh O’Donnell as she blasted an incredible goal into the net.. bringing the girls to 3 goals. We were 4 – 0 up half time after Hannah scored another goal. With the wind against us in the second half Park got a goal which was quickly replied to by Hannah Redican as she gave a very tasty pass to Hannah Barrett- Neziri which she went on to score 2 more goals from. We saw 3 substitutes come on in the 2nd half, Fiadh McElligott, Siun O’Donnell and Emma Barrett-Neziri made their presence felt up top and Emma Barrett-Neziri in defence in the final 10 minutes. Another great display of comraderie and determination from this Fenit Samphires U13s team. Well done to you all! Girls of the game: Hannah Redican, Hannah Barrett-Neziri
Girls U12s Div 1 Semi Final: Iveragh 4 v 0 Iveragh
Hard luck to our 12s girls who lost out on the road away to Iveragh. The score doesn’t tell the story of how well we played but Iveragh were more clinical so we can’t complain. Well done though to our girls for giving a spirited display.
Boys U11s: We had 2 teams out last week playing Park and Kenmare. Both our teams played very well. Great to see the next crop coming along. This week, our teams played vs Listowel Celtic and LB Rovers this week and we had 2 more good games. Well done lads and keep listening to ye’re coaches.
Girls U10s: LB Rovers v Samphires

Boys U10s: Our under 10 Black team put in a heroic performance in a fiercely competitive game versus Tralee Dynamos (Black) last week in Tralee. Each of the lads left every ounce of energy on the pitch, even a superb penalty save from our keeper Liam Ryle. It was a beautiful evening for the fixture and thanks to Dynamos for a great contest and for organising the fixture at such short notice. We played Mastergeeha and Park this week and we had 2 more good performances by our boys. Well done again to all involved.

Boys U10s: Congratulations to our U10 Boys White squad who claimed their place in a development league final this evening after a terrific win away at St Brendan’s Park. Fantastic effort and teamwork from front to back saw the Samphires boys defend their first half lead throughout a difficult second half, eventually claiming a hard earned win. Well done and thanks to all of the parents and coaches who cheered the boys on this evening.

U9s: Well done to our players who played in the Listowel AFC blitz last Sunday where all our teams played really well.
Condolences: Our condolences to Ciarán O’Dwyer and his family on the passing of his mom, Jean, recently. Ar Dheis Dé go raibh a hAnam Dilís.
