U12 Boys: Inter Kenmare 3 v 1 Samphires (Scorer Evan Lyons)
The boys U12s started the ball rolling for the club away to Kenmare in the league. In a game that could have gone either way we were a bit unlucky not to get a draw. We went a goal down after a fine move by Kenmare but soon struck back through Evan Lyons who got on the end of a cross from Michael O’Sullivan. We pushed for a second and hit the post through Dara Harty but Kenmare countered and scored. The game ebbed and flowed and the next goal was to decide the result. Unfortunately it was the home side who got it after a defensive mix up. But all the lads did their best and it was a good performance against a strong team. Best for us was Luke O’Carroll in midfield.
