U16s Lose Out To Park

Hard luck to our Under 16s who came up against a good Park team last Saturday unforunately losing 7. As a result we will now compete in Division 1 of the league and we will be hoping to do well and improve from here on out. We struggled with the pace of the game, had difficulty closing down our opponents in our own half to the required extent and at times gave away the ball when normally we would keep it. This resulted in our opponents having the lion’s share of possession which they duly converted into goals. But we will take the positives from the game and we had some good performances especially from Eoghan O’Brien in goals and Dylan ‘Frosty’ Ronan throughout.David Murphy also made a very good impression when he moved into midfield and Jamie Hogan put in a great second half at left back but well done to all our players for keeping going right to the end.
