Boys U14s: Mastergeeha 6 v 0 Fenit
It was a tough day at the office for our U14 Division 2 team. We were playing Mastergeeha away, which is always a difficult task. We started well and settle comfortably on the ball for the first ten minutes. Mastergeeha got the first of their breakaway goals, there was literally nothing that we could have done about it, the quality of the Mastergeeha passing and speed of this attack left us standing. We remained composed for the rest of the game, and when in possession, we always choose the right option, and played some wonderful passing moves. Unfortunately the opposition were simply too effective in their counter attacking movement. All the boys played their best, of particular note was Jay Swan who had his game of the season. The game finished Mastergeeha 6 Samphires 0.
Girls U11s: There was fierce excitement in Fenit on Bank Holiday Monday morning when our 2 U11 girls teams played their respective semi-finals against Killarney Celtic and MEK Galaxy. Our Black team played out a thrilling 2-2 draw after extra time against a strong Killarney Celtic side and were very unlucky to lose out on penalties. Immediately after, our Green team had a comprehensive win over MEK Galaxy and will now go on to meet Camp Juniors in their Final.
