A big win by the seniors who have qualified for the final of the KDL Challenge Cup competition vs Killarney Athletic next Saturday night at 7.15 in Mounthawk Park, Tralee. Our opponents will be Castleisland who defeated Dingle 2 – 0 in the other semi.
We went 1 down in an even first half to a penalty after the ball struck an outstretched arm in the box. We got a penalty of our own in the second half after Ger McCarthy was taken down in the box which he duly converted. Soon after, we conceded a second from a free at the edge of the box but as the game progressed we scored through Oisin O’Brien and Ger again to give us a narrow victory. Well done to manager David Hennessey and all the squad.
