Girls U13s vs LB Rovers March 2023

Girls U13s: LB Rovers 3 v 7 Samphires

A superb performance from our team this morning against a good LB Rovers side in what was effectively a shoot out for 3rd place in the Premier division. Goals from Ava, Sadhbh, Blathnaid and Evie were enough to ensure victory and cap off an impressive league campaign which saw huge improvements over the course of the season. Well done everyone and thanks to LB Rovers for a sporting gamešŸ‘āš½

Boys U12s vs Killarney Celtic Mar 2023

Boys U12s: Killarney Celtic 1 v 1 Samphires Samphires win 4 – 3 on penaltiesĀ (Scorer: Evan Neary)

A fantastic performance by Fenit tonight in a late kick off in Celtic Park. It was a very evenly matched game throughout with both teams having chances. Nil all at the break so all to play for in 2nd half. Killarney went ahead 15 mins in and with our boys continually pushing for a goal of our own we eventually got the reward with minutes to go thanks to a great finish from Evan Neary. Onto extra time and again chances for both but neither managed to see the back of the net so it was onto penalties where we managed to come out the better. Well done to all players involved, super performance from everyone with all boys having to give it all. Thanks to Killarney Celtic for a great sporting game.

Girls U12s: Well done to the U12 girls who played a challenge last weekend vs Camp to finish the season off. The team has improved greatly during the year and big thanks to Eimear, Liz and Seamus for all the time and effort they have put in. Thanks too to the parents who have supported the team throughout and also to the girls themselves who have made such a good effort to improve their skills. Finally thanks to Camp who made the journey over to us.
