Our U18s played away to Listowel in a league fixture last weekend. The game itself wasn’t a close one and we had a comfortable 9-2 victory in their grounds which is a regular host to Irish international games. The perfect pitch suited our passing game to a tee and despite resistance from Listowel for 30 minutes in both halves, once we got the first goal, their heads dropped and we capitalised. Our scorers were Sean Higgins, Bobby O’Regan(pen), Oisin O’Brien, Conor Murphy, Chris Murphy and Luke Moynihan with a cracker from 25 yard. As usual with Listowel they were magnanimous after the game and complimented our lads and they way they went about their business. Well done to all our fellas on their performance on the day.
