Boys U12s Shield Semi-Final: Samphires 3 v 0 Dingle (Scorers 2 OGs, Cillian O’Brien)
Our U12s are through to the Shield Final! They continued their winning ways last Monday winning their semi final with a 3-0 victory over Dingle. This is the 3rd time these sides have met this season with both previous games ending in a draw. In truth we dominated most of the game going in at time 1-0 up (OG) and could have been further ahead only for some excellent saves from the Dingle keeper. Samphires kept the pressure up and another OG saw them stretch their lead. Samphires comfortably saw out the remainder of the game and clinched a late third goal through Cillian O’Brien. A great effort again from the lads and we now look forward to one last game to wrap up a great season.
