Boys U15s: Samphires 2 v 1 Dingle Bay Rovers (Scorers: Diarmuid Murphy, Zach Kearney)
Our 15s just scraped home yesterday vs a spirited Dingle Bay Rovers team. Overall we probably had the better of it but our passing wasn’t as good as it usually is, which hampered our efforts and gave Dingle a steady supply of the ball. On the other side our ability to get the bll back was good. Neither side made too many chances but with 8 minutes left on the clockwe conceded and it didn’t look good for us.
Boys U13s: Samphires 7 v 0 Milltown (Scorers: Jack Corridon, Conor Stack, Josh Ennis(3), Evan Neary, Cody Deady)
We had a good victory early last Sunday morning in Fenit over Milltown in the cup. We were on top throughout and moved the ball well. All 14 of the boys played their part and can be happy with their day. Credit to Milltown for persevering with playing the ball out from the back even when things were going against them.
Boys U12s: Samphires B 2 v 7 Listowel Celtic C (Scorers: Cathal O’Connor, Liam Burns)
We played Listowel Celticc in Div 2 North game on Saturday the 18th Feb at home in Samphire Park. A hectic first half finished 2-2 with Fenit coming from behind twice through Cathal O’Connor and Liam Burns. A lot of changes in the second half and some unfortunate deflections left us chasing the game and some excellent distance efforts from Listowel left us on the wrong side of a 7-2 defeat.
Boys U11s: Our u11 Black team in the Shield enjoyed a great day out against MEK today. Our u11 Hoops Team are in the bowl side of the competition and also had an enjoyable game today against Tralee Dynamos. Thanks to both teams for the sporting matches!
Boys U10s: Well done to our u10 boys who played magnificently against Park this Saturday in the Bowl Competition. We’ll done boys.
Our u10s had their matches in the Shield 2 weekends ago in Ardfert against Killarney Athletic A.F.C. and MEK Galaxy F.C. . Some great skills and effort on show with both games of high quality and played in a sporting manner. Thanks to teams for travelling and well done everyone
Girls U9s: Last Sunday our U9 Fenit Girls played a challenge match against LB Rovers . A fantastic day was had with all the girls on both sides. Thank you for having us, LB Rovers. We look forward to playing again soon.
